Animals of Brooklyn is a personal project that I have been developing in my free time. The illustrations are inspired by stuffed animals that hold sentimental value, and will be incorporated into a children's book. Each character will playfully portray a typical "Brooklynite" personality while exploring neighborhoods through the borough.
Press Here Publicity is a public relations firm offering services in the music and entertainment industry. The company was looking to rebrand their website in order to give it a more modern and clean feel, while still keeping its alternative personality.
Wonky’s House of Ginger Stews is currently in its beginnings stages of business development in the West Harlem area of New York City. The style themes represented here were designed for use by the newfound business owners, who prior to our consultation, were unclear on how to produce an image that portrayed their product as charming, healthful, and lighthearted, without being overly whimsical.
The purpose of this project was to create compelling headline designs and page compositions using Gestalt principals that create visual hierarchy, space, and balance.
A Brooklyn based artist sought marketing imagery for her theatrical dance performance, which featured her work alongside an opening act by a solo performance artist. To indicate the distinction in styles, a logo was designed for each performance relying on the same basic tenant, seven circles, which had been decided on in collaborative conversation with the artist. The images were adapted to fit digital and print flyers as well as Facebook.
The Sensorium is a performance and sculptural installation created by a Brooklyn based artist. The client's vision of her work was to portray unrecognizably cruel threads that underscore familiar romantic, sacrificial, and political conditions.
Promotional images were created to aid viewers in the visualization of the sculptures and performers themselves, while maintaining aspects of the thematic undercurrents: cruelty and festivity.
